Our Story
We offer a variety of art, creative and DIY public/private events where anyone can socialize & create! You’re creating for a cause when you book Made in Oak Cliff events. Booking events and purchasing our creative kits benefits Bright Start Project.
Bright Start Project mission is to provide STEAM experiences to underserved our underserved community. We accomplish that by partnering with educators, artists, engineers and local entrepreneurs to host skill building and creative workshops. Our organization is volunteer-run but growing, we look forward to creating and making an impact with you.

Wind & Wine
Create your own string art while you enjoy a glass of wine.
Guests have the option to choose from a variety of templates or can create their own design.

Kits begin at $34, tools and materials for the project come included. Participants must Pay via our reservation form in advance to reserve your seat. We will accept drop-ins as reserved seats become open.

Get Lit: Build a lamp, then grab a beer!
“Get lit” projects will feed your need to create and ignite your maker spirit. In these workshops you will have have the tools and materials necessary to build your very own fully functional LED lamps, wood framed back-lit signs and other fun projects that make ideal gifts or home decor.
These interactive, hands on workshops allow you to learn how to use power tools, stain/protect wood, and solder electronics. If you’ve never used power tools before, our Made in Oak Cliff workshop is a fun place to start, because not only will you leave feeling confident in your abilities, you will also get to enjoy the fruits of your labor by taking home projects that make your home smile.
